2. Using the HAZET 4935-2/15
for mechanically pressing out the cardan shafts
(pressed or glued)
• Use the thread dimensions of the wheel nuts to decide which pulling bolts you need to use.
The
c
bolts have M12 threads.
The
bolts have M14 threads.
• Select the bolt positions based on the hole geometry of the wheel bolts.
The elongated holes in the HAZET drilled disc
a
are labelled with the codes 3/4/5/6
to indicate which positions must be used for each respective hole geometry.
3-hole rim => Bolts in the elongated holes with the code 3
4-hole rim => Bolts in the elongated holes with the code 4
5-hole rim => Bolts in the elongated holes with the code 5
6-hole rim => Bolts in the elongated holes with the code 6
• After you have screwed the bolts
c
/ into
the threaded holes of the wheel hub (or
brake disk if you have not removed this),
• mount the drilled disc
a
on the bolts and
secure this disc with the nuts
.
• Now screw the HAZET adapter
b
into the
middle of the drilled disc
a
as far as it will
go.
• Then screw the HAZET spindle
into the
adapter until the tip touches the cardan shaft.
• Actuating the HAZET spindle
in a clock-
wise direction will press the cardan shaft
out of the axle body.
