5. OPERATING THE DEVICE

There are 3 different Plug n Clear™

models, with 3 different powers: 5 or 10 or 20 g/h of Chlorine.

Models Maximum consumption Chlorine production

PNCLEAR-05 45 W 5 g/h

PNCLEAR-10 85 W 10 g/h

PNCLEAR-20 140 W 20 g/h

There are 3 production modes:

- Smart Mode: not programmable, this is the recommended mode, it is fully autonomous.

- Boost Mode: not programmable. This mode activates 100 % chlorine generation and reverts to Smart Mode after 24 hours of

chlorine production.

Example:whenre-openingthepoolafterwinter,whenheavyrainoccurs,duringintensiveuseofthepoolorwhenchildrenare

using it, etc.

- Manual Mode: configurable (production power and operating time).

Thecontrolboxmenuscanbeconfigured(seechapter"Settings").

5.1. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

1. Plugthetransformerwireintotheroundsocketlocatedunderneaththecontrolbox.Pushthewireinuntilyouhearitclick,which

means that the wire is connected properly.

2. Plug the electric cable into the transformer.

3. Plug into the protected electrical wall socket.

Make sure you comply with local and national legislation.

This circuit must be protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) (residual current: 30mA max) and a 16A

slow tripping circuit breaker.

Thedeviceisdesignedtobepermanentlypluggedintoaprotectedsocket.ThePlugnClear™mustnotbeunpluggedexceptto

carry out pool equipment maintenance or if the pool must be closed (wintering).

When the water parameters are within the recommended ranges for the chemical balance of the water, you can start up the device.

When the device is plugged in, it will automatically operate in Smart Mode, entirely autonomously.
