Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in any electrical appliance. This does not necessarily mean that
there is a defect in the appliance. Therefore, please check whether or not you can correct
the fault using the table.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Touching live parts may result in severe injury or death.

Never try to repair the appliance yourself. This could endanger yourself and sub-
sequent users. Only authorised specialists may carry out such repairs.

The appliance is
not starting.
The mains plug has not
been inserted into a
socket.
Plug in the mains plug.
Fuse(s) faulty. Replace fuse(s).
No power supply. Check the power supply.
Start/Pause button not
pressed.
Press the Start/Pause button.
Cycle selector is set to
OFF position.
Set the cycle selector to the desired position.
Appliance door is not
completely closed.
Close the appliance door.
The appliance
does not draw wa-
ter.
The tap is turned off. Turn the tap on.
Water inlet hose may be
twisted.
Check the water inlet hose and straighten if
necessary.
Water inlet hose is
blocked.
Clean the water inlet hose filter (see chapter
"Checking the water intake filter, cleaning and
replacing the seals”).
Inlet filter is clogged. Clean the inlet filter (see chapter "Checking
the water intake filter, cleaning and replacing
the seals").
Appliance door is not
completely closed.
Close the appliance door.
The appliance
does not pump the
water.
Outlet hose is clogged or
twisted.
Inspect and clean or straighten outlet hose.
The lint trap is blocked. Clean the lint trap (see chapter "Cleaning the
lint trap").
Laundry was added too
compactly to the drum.
Distribute the laundry evenly throughout the
machine.
