Be aware that substantial amounts of
water may leak out during emergency
draining.
n
Ensure that the water drain does not
exceed the maximum height (see
chapter "Intended use").
n
Ensure that the water outlet hose is in
the retaining clips on the back of the
appliance so that the curvature always
remains above the waterline.
n
Do not submerge the end of the hose
in the pumped out water.
n
Drain away the leftover water if there
is a risk of frost to avoid damage to
the appliance.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper filling of the appliance can lead
to damage.
n
Make sure that there are no foreign
objects in the pockets of garments in
the laundry, e.g. needles, nails, coins,
matches, staples, clips, etc.
n
Only use dyes that are suitable for
washing machines. Do not use decol-
ourisers.
n
Never open the dispensing drawer
when the machine is running.
n
Never fill more than the intended
quantity of textiles at once (see
chapter "Intended use").
n
Never try to open the appliance door
with force whilst a cycle is in progress
or once a cycle has ended. Only open
the appliance door once it has been
released automatically.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper cleaning of the appliance can
cause damage.
n
Never use harsh, granular, soda, acid,
solvent-based or abrasive cleaners.
They can damage the surfaces or
make the rubber sleeve brittle and fra-
gile. All-purpose cleaners with a neut-
ral pH are recommended.
n
Do not use pointed, sharp or angular
objects for cleaning the rubber sleeve.
They can make the rubber sleeve
leaky.
n
Check and clean filters and gaskets
regularly.
n
Replace defect filters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without filters and gaskets or if
the filters and gaskets are defective.
n
Never spray the appliance with a wa-
ter jet or a high-pressure cleaner.
