The lint trap (35) stops threads and other
foreign bodies from ending up in the pump
with the suds. Clean the lint trap every 2
months.
1. Switch off the appliance and take the
mains plug out of the socket.
2. Close the tap.

3. Gently open the lint trap panel (12) with
a flat object, such as a flat-tip screw-
driver.

4. Place a suitable collecting container un-
derneath the lint trap.
5. Only open the lint trap anticlockwise to
the point where water flows out. You
will have to repeatedly empty the collec-
tion container every now and then.
6. Completely unscrew the lint trap once
the water stops flowing.
7. Remove all foreign bodies and clean
the lint trap under running water.
8. Replace the lint trap and screw it clock-
wise all the way in.
9. Re-insert the panel. When inserting the
panel, ensure that the tabs located be-
hind the panel are aligned with the cor-
responding holes on the inside.
Emptying residual water
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The appliance is very heavy and can
cause injury if it is allowed to fall.

Never move the appliance alone, but
always with at least one other person.
If the appliance is in a frost-prone room,
you must drain the residual water so that it
does not freeze in the appliance and cause
damage.

chapter ‘Cleaning the lint trap’.
