Checking the water intake filter,
cleaning and replacing the
seals
In the water inlet, the appliance contains fil-
ters that prevent foreign particles from pen-
etrating the appliance.
– Check and clean the filters every 3
months or if the appliance is not getting
enough water despite the tap being
open completely.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance may
result in damage.

Turn off the water intake tap after
each use, before cleaning the water
intake filter or replacing the seal. Oth-
erwise there is a risk of water damage.

Close the tap before cleaning the filter
or replacing the gaskets.
n
Check and clean filters and gaskets
regularly.
n
Replace defect filters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without filters and gaskets.
1. Switch off the appliance, take the mains
plug out of the socket and turn off the
tap.
2. Unscrew the water inlet hose (22) from
the tap.
3. Clean the filter with a small brush.
4. Screw the water inlet hose onto the tap
again.

5. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance.
6. Remove the water inlet filter (32) from
the connection (14) by carefully pulling
the plastic latch in the water inlet filter
with a pair of pointed pliers.
A second water inlet filter is located at
the end of the water inlet hose.

7. Remove the second water inlet filter
(33) by carefully pulling the plastic latch
(34) in the water inlet hose with a pair of
pointed pliers.
8. Rinse the filters under clear water and
clean them with a small, soft brush if
necessary.
9. Reinsert the filters and screw the water
inlet hose back into place.
10. Open the tap to check whether the hose
and connections are sealed.
Cleaning the lint trap
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to scalding caused by hot suds.

Allow soapy water to cool before re-
moving the lint trap.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
When draining in an emergency, substan-
tial amounts of water can leak out.
n
In case of an emergency emptying,
place a suitable collection container
under the lint trap.
