Pre-wash
Extra rinse
Quick wash
– To activate the desired auxiliary func-
tion, touch the function button (8) until
the symbol of the desired auxiliary func-
tion is displayed.
If the auxiliary function icon is not dis-
played, this means that the auxiliary func-
tion is not available for the selected wash-
ing programme.
Pre-wash
With this additional function you can carry
out a pre-wash in the case of heavily soiled
laundry before the main wash.

If you use this function, you must put deter-
gent in the pre-wash compartment (27) of
the dispensing drawer (1).
– To activate the additional pre-wash func-
tion, touch the function button (8) until
the pre-wash symbol is displayed.
Extra rinse
With this additional function, you can add
an additional rinsing step to the washing
programme.
– To activate the extra rinse auxiliary func-
tion, touch the function button (8) until
the extra rinse symbol is displayed.
Key lock (child lock)
The key lock allows you to lock the buttons
to prevent accidental changes to the selec-
ted washing programme.

– To activate the key lock, touch and hold
the Boost (7) and Function (8) buttons
simultaneously for approx. 3 seconds.
When the key lock is activated, the ap-
pliance beeps and the display altern-
ately flashes "CL" and the remaining
time of the programme in progress. The
child safety lock symbol lights up.
When a button is touched while the key
lock is active, or when the selected pro-
gramme is changed via the cycle se-
lector (2), the “CL” symbol flashes for 2
seconds in the display.
When the key lock is active, all keys ex-
cept the On/Off button and the Child
lock key combination are locked.
– To deactivate the key lock, hold and
touch the Boost (7) and Function (8) but-
tons simultaneously for approx. 3
seconds.
