3. Carefully open the shutter of the lint
trap (17) with a flat object, such as with
a flat-tip screwdriver.

4. Rotate 90° and pull out the emergency
drain hose (40).
5. Have a sufficiently large container
ready to hold the water. Remove the
hose cap and secure the hose end in
the container.
6. Once the water has drained, reinsert
the emergency drain hose.

7. Unscrew the lint trap by turning it anti-
clockwise.
8. Remove the foreign body and clean the
lint trap thoroughly under running water.
9. Replace the lint trap and turn it clock-
wise until it clicks into place.
10. Close the cover of the lint trap.
Emptying residual water
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The appliance is very heavy and can
cause injury if it is allowed to fall.

Never move the appliance alone, but
always with at least one other person.
If the appliance is in a frost-prone room,
you must drain the residual water so that it
does not freeze in the appliance and cause
damage.
1. Follow steps 1 to 10 as described in the
chapter "Cleaning the lint trap".
2. Unscrew the water inlet hose (30) from
the water tap and remove it from the
bathtub or the siphon to let the residual
water in it drain off.
