Signal tones
The appliance emits signal tones by de-
fault, e.g. when a button is touched, when
the cycle selector is turned, when there is a
fault message or at the end of a cycle.

– To switch off the signal tones, select a
programme and touch and hold the anti-
stain button (9) and the function button
(8) for three seconds.
– To turn on the signal tones, touch and
hold the anti-stain and function buttons
again for three seconds.
The symbol will disappear from the
display.
Customised settings
Your washing machine’s cycle selection
also includes a “Custom” cycle. The “Cot-
ton” cycle is configured as standard here.
But you can also store a custom cycle that
you have adjusted and would like to use
frequently.

Saving custom cycle
1. Select the right cycle and make all de-
sired changes (e.g. temperature, spin
speed, pre-wash, etc.). Do not start the
cycle yet.
2. Touch and hold the Spin (10) and Anti-
stain (9) buttons for approx. 3 seconds
to save the programme with all the ad-
justments made.
3. To change the customised settings, re-
peat steps 1 and 2.
Starting custom cycle
– You can select the “Custom” cycle using
the cycle selector (2) and start as nor-
mal.
Overflow protection system
This system prevents water from leaking
through the dispenser. As soon as a certain
water level is exceeded, the discharge
pump switches on automatically. In this
case, the programme immediately stops
the washing or water intake actions and
starts to drain. Once drainage is complete:
The display (4) shows E16.
Water leakage detection
If water leaks out of the bottom of the appli-
ance and reaches the preset water level,
the E16 alarm is triggered. As soon as the
appliance displays E16, it stops immedi-
ately and activates the drainage pump. At
this point, the waterproof bottom plate can-
not drain the water automatically. Please
contact the service. As soon as the water-
proof base plate is drained, the E16 alarm
is canceled.
