Safety
Intended use
The appliance is designed for washing,
rinsing and spinning laundry in normal
household quantities.
It was designed exclusively for use in
private households and is not designed for
commercial use or multiple use (e.g. use by
several parties in a block of flats).
The appliance is intended only for use:
– with a water pressure of between
0.05MPa and 1.0MPa (0.5 to 10.0bar).
– with a maximum dry textile content of up
to
8 kg, model HWMM1814A2
7kg, model HWMM1714A2.
– at an ideal ambient temperature of 15–
25°C for optimal operation.
– as a stand-alone unit. This appliance is
not designed for use as a built-in appli-
ance.
Persons who are unable to operate the ap-
pliance safely due to their physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of knowledge
must be supervised during use.
Do not make any technical changes to the
appliance.
Use the appliance only as described in this
user manual. Any other use is deemed im-
proper and may result in damage to prop-
erty or even personal injury. The manufac-
turer accepts no liability for damage caused
by improper use.

Risks to children and certain groups

Risk of suffocation for children!
Children can become entangled in the
packaging film or swallow small parts and
suffocate.

Do not allow children to play with the
packaging film.

Prevent children from taking small
parts out of the accessory bag and
putting them in their mouths.

Risk of injury for children and animals!
Children and pets could lock themselves
in the drum when playing and so en-
danger their lives.

Ensure that children have no access
to the appliance when unsupervised,
regardless of whether the appliance is
switched on or off.

Inspect the appliance before every op-
eration.

Children and certain groups of people
have a higher risk of being injured when
handling the appliance.

This appliance can be used by chil-
dren aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appli-
ance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
