Emptying residual water
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The appliance is very heavy and can
cause injury if it is allowed to fall.
■ Never move the appliance alone, but
always with at least two people.
If the appliance is in a frost-prone room, you
must drain the residual water so that it does
not freeze in the appliance and cause dam-
age.
1. Follow steps 1 to 7 as described in Sec-
tion “Cleaning the lint trap”.
2. With the assistance of another person, tilt
the appliance forward slightly to allow any
residual water to drain from the appliance.
3. Replace the lint trap (39) once again and
screw it clockwise until it stops turning.
4. Fold the cover (26) back into position.
5. Unscrew the water inlet hose (32) from
the water tap and remove it from the bath-
tub or the siphon to let the residual water
in it drain off.
