2. The display rounds up the programme
duration of the set programme to the
nearest whole number. For example, for
a programme with a programme dura-
tion of 1 hour and 45 minutes, the dis-
play shows "2h" and the symbol
.
3. Touch the end time preselection button
until the desired number of hours is dis-
played, after which the washing pro-
gramme should be finished.
4. If you have skipped the desired number
of hours, touch the end time preselec-
tion button until the desired number of
hours is displayed.
5. To apply the end time preselection,
touch the Start/Pause button (8).
The appliance starts the washing pro-
gramme so that it ends after the set
time has elapsed.
After the end time preselection has
been activated, you can select addi-
tional functions. You can then use
the Start/Pause button to apply the
end time preselection.
If the auxiliary function LED is not lit,
this auxiliary function is not available
for the selected washing pro-
gramme.
To disable the end time preselection:
– If you did not touch the Start/Pause but-
ton, touch the end time preselection but-
ton until the icon
goes out.
– If you have already touched the Start/
Pause button, touch the end time
preselection button once.
The
symbol goes out. You can then
start the washing programme with the
Start/Pause button.
Key lock (child lock)
The key lock allows you to lock the buttons
to prevent accidental changes to the selec-
ted washing programme.

– To activate the key lock, press and hold
the end time preselection button (10)
and the function button (9) simultan-
eously for approx. 3 seconds.
When the key lock is enabled, “CL”
flashes for 2 seconds in the display.
When a button is touched while the key
lockis active or the selected programme
is changed via the cycle selector (2), the
"CL" symbol flashes for 2 seconds.
When the key lock is active and a pro-
gramme is running, when you turn the
cycle selector to the “Off” position and
select another programme, the previ-
ously selected programme will resume
at the point where it was stopped.
– To deactivate the key lock, press and
hold the end time preselection button
(10) and the function button (9) simul-
taneously for approx. 3 seconds.
“CL” disappears from the display.
Steam assist
The steam assist penetrates deep into the
fibres and effectively kills bacteria and
germs. This prevents odours and protects
your health.

Signal tones
The appliance emits signal tones by de-
fault, e.g. when a button is touched, when
the cycle selector is turned, when there is a
fault message or at the end of a cycle.
