3. Remove the spacers (25) from the packa-
ging, remove the protective film from the
adhesive tape and attach the spacers to
both sides of the top rear of the appliance.
This serves to better discharge the heat
from the rear condenser.
4. If underfloor heating is installed at the set-
up location, place the cooling appliance
on an insulation plate made from sol-
id material. Make sure that the ambient
temperatures match the climate category
of the appliance (see “Intended use” on
page EN-4).
5. Check the position of the appliance with
a spirit level.
About climate categories
• Always ensure the prescribed ambient temperature is maintained (see “Intended use” on
page EN-4).
Climate category means that the appliance is intended for operation at the specified ambient
temperature.
Zone designation
Code Definition
extended temperate zone SN This cooling appliance is designed for use at ambient
temperatures of +10 °C to +32 °C.
temperate zone N This cooling appliance is designed for use at ambient
temperatures of +16 °C to +32 °C.
subtropical zone ST This cooling appliance is designed for use at ambient
temperatures of +16 °C to +38 °C.
tropical zone T This cooling appliance is designed for use at ambient
temperatures of +16 °C to +43 °C.
If the room temperature drops significantly below this, the appliance will not switch on as often.
This indicates that an unwelcome increase in temperature may occur.

6. Level out any unevenness on the ground
using both of the front screw feet (7).
7. Tilt the appliance backwards slightly and
screw/unscrew the screw feet.
8. Repeat the adjustment until the appli-
ance is upright and secure. The appli-
ance should not wobble when opening
the doors.
Cleaning before use
In order to remove the odour which is pres-
ent in all new appliances, wipe the fridge and
freezer out prior to first use with a solution
made from 100 ml vinegar and 200 ml water.
Then wipe it out with clean water and dry all
of the parts off afterwards.
