You ideally need two fridge/freezer thermom-
eters to be able to control the refrigeration
output.
Place one in the fridge above the fruit/vegeta-
ble drawer (11) and one in the freezer.
The proper fridge temperature is +6 °C. The
ideal storage temperature in the freezer is
–18 °C. This can be achieved by adjusting
the temperature controller (14) to COLDER. It
is highly recommended to use fridge/freezer
thermometers to find out the actual temper-
atures.
Setting the temperature in the
freezer
You can use the temperature controller for
the freezer (15) to set the temperature in the
freezer:
FREEZER CONTROL
• Choose this setting if you want the freezer
temperature to be higher.
FREEZER CONTROL
• Choose this setting if you want the freezer
temperature to be moderate.
FREEZER CONTROL
• Choose this setting if you want the freezer
temperature to be lower.
The ideal temperature for the freezer is
–18 °C.
Activating and deactivating
Quick Freezing
The “Quick freezing” mode rapidly cools the
freezer to –24 °C.
Activating quick freezing
• Perform the following steps within 10 sec-
onds:
1. Turn the temperature controller in the
fridge (14) to the OFF position.
2. Turn the temperature controller in the
fridge to the COLDEST position.
3. Turn the temperature controller in the
fridge to the OFF position again.
4. Turn the temperature controller in the
fridge to the original position.
After approx. 1.5 seconds, the interior
light (1) will begin to flash: 1.5 seconds
on, 0.5 seconds off.
