4. Replace the filters and turn the coarse fil-
ter in a clockwise direction up to the stop
point.
Checking and cleaning the
spraying arms
The nozzles in the spraying arm may calcify
or become dirty due to food scraps. Check
the nozzles regularly after each cycle and
clean them if required.
1. Empty the two racks (19) and (20) and
remove the lower rack.
2. Turn the lower spraying arm (21) upward
and outwards.

3. The upper spraying arm is affixed using
a bayonet closure. To remove the spray-
ing arm, hold the two serrated bayonet
grips (35) still and turn the spraying arm
clockwise.
4. Clean the nozzles under running water.
5. Affix the spraying arm again after clean-
ing.
The spraying arm must be firmly affixed
and must be able to rotate freely.
Complete cleaning
In well-stocked supermarkets and drugstores,
you will find special dishwasher cleaning
products. Cleaning the appliance using these
products takes place when the dishwasher is
empty and is very intensive. You should clean
the dishwasher in this way from time to time.
When doing so, please note the manufactur-
er instructions on the packaging.
To prevent limescale deposits, please follow
the instructions for the correct setting of the
appliance (rinse aid and salt) (see „Dish-
washer detergents, rinse aids and dishwash-
er salts“ on page EN-20).
Protection against frost
damage
The appliance has a water tank that holds the
water. At room temperatures below 0 °C, the
water in the tank may freeze. Do not operate
the appliance if the room temperature is be-
low 0 °C.
Empty the water tank if the ambient temper-
ature is below 0 °C to prevent frost damage
to the appliance.
• Press and hold the button (2) and the
button (5) for 3 seconds to activate the
emptying function.
– All the programme indicator lights will
light up, and the display (11) will show s-:
- - and the water will be drained from the
tank.
– This process takes approx. 4 minutes.
– If the door is opened during the draining
process, the appliance will pause the
process and continue it when the door is
closed again.
