Dishwasher operation
Programme status
The “Programme status” indicator (10) shows
the current status of the current programme
after the programme start.
Consumption
The “Consumption” indicator (12) shows the
water consumption and the energy con-
sumption of the selected programme. The
more bars of the indicator that light up, the
higher the consumption.
Water inlet
The “Water inlet” indicator lights up in the
display (11), if the intake of water is interrupted
(see „Troubleshooting table“ on page EN-36).
Selecting the spraying arm(s)
If only one of the two dish racks is loaded,
you should deactivate the spraying arm which
you do not require (see „Additional options“
on page EN-30).
– Upper dish rack loaded:
If you select , only the dishes in the up-
per dish rack will be washed. The spraying
system for the lower rack is deactivated.
– Lower dish rack loaded:
If you select , only the dishes in the low-
er dish rack will be washed. The spraying
system for the upper rack is deactivated.
• Press the
(6) button repeatedly until
only the indicator for the spraying arm you
require lights up.
Changing the dishwashing
programme
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam emitted when opening the
appliance door can cause scalding.
■ Maintain a sufficient distance from
the appliance door, and do not hold
your head or upper body directly
above the open appliance door.
■ Keep children and pets away from
the appliance when opening the ap
-
pliance door.
■ Make sure that children do not open
the appliance door during operation.
You can interrupt an active dishwashing pro-
gramme at any point and start a new one.
However, do not forget to add extra dish-
washer detergent if the programme has al-
ready been running for a longer period and
the cover of the dishwasher detergent dis-
penser (23) is already open.
1. Press the
button (8).
2. Wait until both spraying arms have come
to a full stop.
3. Slowly open the appliance door.
4. If required, add extra dishwasher deter-
gent.
5. Press and hold the
button (2) for 3 sec-
onds to enter the programme selection.
6. Select the new programme with the
button.
7. Select additional options if required, as
described on the previous pages.
8. Close the appliance door to start the pro-
gramme.
