Safety
If the automatic door opening (depend-
ing on the model) suddenly develops a
fault, children may be injured.
■ Keep children away from the opening
area of the appliance door.

Children and certain groups of people
have a higher risk of being injured when
handling the appliance.

dren aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or in

struction concerning use of the ap-
pliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
■ Children shall not play with the appli

ance.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without su

pervision.
Risks in handling household
electrical appliances
WARNING

Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.
■ Only use the appliance indoors. Do
not use in wet rooms or in the rain.
■ Do not operate or continue to oper

ate the appliance if it
– exhibits visible damage, e.g. the
connector cable is defective, the
control panel is cracked, or the ap
-
pliance door function is impaired.
– starts smoking or there is a smell of
burning.
– makes unfamiliar noises.
In these cases, you should pull the
mains plug out of the socket or switch
off/unscrew the fuse and have the
appliance repaired (see „Service“ on
pageEN-39).

tection class I and may only be con-
nected to a socket with a protective
conductor that has been installed
properly. Ensure that the voltage is
correct when connecting it. More de

tailed information about this can be
found on the type plate.
■ Since all poles of the appliance can

not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de
-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage cate
-
gory III must be connected within the
house installation with at least 3 mm
contact clearance; consult a qualified
professional if necessary (see „Ser
-
vice“ on pageEN-39).
■ We recommend using a pulse-sensi
-
tive residual-current device (RCD).
■ The appliance must only be connect
-
ed to the mains after completion of
all installation and assembly work.
■ Do not put any objects in or through
the housing openings and also make
sure that children cannot insert any
objects through them.
■ Keep the appliance, the mains plug
and the mains cord away from open
flames and hot surfaces. The insula
-
tion of the mains cord could melt.
■ Do not kink or pinch the mains cable or
lay it over sharp edges.
