If you won’t use the appliance for a prolonged
period (e.g. if you go on holiday), you can ac-
tivate the energy-saving mode. This will save
energy.
When the energy-saving mode is active, the
temperature will be adjusted to -17 °C.
• To activate the energy-saving mode,
press the ‘Eco’ button (14) in unlocked
state.
The energy-saving mode indicator
will
light up.
• To deactivate the energy-saving mode,
press the ‘Eco’ button.
The energy-saving mode indicator will
go out.
The temperature display will return to the
original setting.
Door alarm
The energy consumption and the tempera-
ture inside the appliance can increase if the
appliance door (3) is opened often or for long
periods of time.
If the appliance door is open for more than
2 minutes, 3 beeps will sound every 60 sec-
onds. The alarm LED (10) will flash and the
display (11) will show ‘dr’.
The door alarm will sound for 10 minutes and
then switch itself off. The alarm LED and the
signal tones will stop.
• Close the appliance door.
Freezer drawers and glass
shelves
If there is not enough space in the freez-
er drawers (6), (7) and (8) or on the glass
shelves (9), you can remove the freezer
drawers and the glass shelves.
