Cleaning the oven door
CAUTION
Risk of breakage and injury!
The oven door is equipped with heavy
glass panels that can break if handled im-
properly. The glass shards are sharp and
can cause injury.
n
Do not let the oven door or individual
glass panels fall.
n
Do not hit the oven door and the indi-
vidual panels of glass anywhere.
n
Do not use the oven when the glass is
damaged because the oven is no
longer safe. Instead contact our Ser-
vice.
n
If a glass pane breaks, keep children
away from it and carefully collect all
the pieces of glass.
Removing the oven door from its
hinges
The oven door can be removed from its
hinges to enable easy cleaning of all areas
of the oven:
1. Open the oven door completely.
2. Fold the clips on both sides all the way
forward. Use a screwdriver if neces-
sary.
3. Close the door leaving an open gap of
about 10 cm.
4. Lightly lift and guide the door forward
out of its hinges.
Cleaning the glass panes
The oven door contains a total of three
glass panes, which you should occasionally
clean on both sides. Two glass panes can
be removed for cleaning.
1. Carefully remove the lattice cover by
pushing down on the latches on the
sides.
2. Remove the top glass and bottom glass
from the bracket one at a time, and set
them down securely.
3. Clean all panes with warm, fresh water.
4. Dry the panes thoroughly.
5. Reinstall the two glass panes in the
bracket.
6. Put the grid cover back on the door.
Putting the oven door back on its
hinges
1. Hold the oven door at an angle using
both hands.
2. Hook the hinges into the holes in the
side panels.
3. Open the oven door completely.
