Defrosting
WARNING
Health hazard!
Defrosting meat, poultry or fish in the
oven can cause dangerous microorgan-
isms (such as salmonella) to multiply rap-
idly, thereby This increases the risk of
food poisoning.
n
Do not defrost meat, poultry and fish
in the oven.
n
Only use the defrosting function to de-
frost vegetables, pre-cooked food, etc.
n
Take the frozen food out of the freezer
ahead of time and let it defrost in the
refrigerator. The fluid from the frozen
food must be able to properly drain,
otherwise harmful microorganisms can
form.
1. In standby mode, select the defrost pro-
gramme
by pressing the ‘Special’
button.
2. Press the
button (14).
3. Rotate the function wheel (10) to set the
time.
4. Press the
button to start defrosting.
Fermentation
1. In standby mode, select the fermenta-
tion programme
by pressing the
‘Special’ button.
2. Press the
button (14).
3. Rotate the function wheel (10) to set the
time.
4. Press the
button.
5. Turn the function wheel to adjust the
temperature.
6. Press the
button to start the ferment-
ation cycle.
Steam cleaning
1. Pour 250 ml of clear tap water onto the
bottom of the cooking compartment.
2. In standby mode, select the ‘AquA’
cleaning programme by pressing the
‘Special’ button.
3. Press the
button to start the cleaning
programme.
Sounds
This setting only turns off the sounds that
occur when you touch the control panel. All
beeps and error warnings are not turned
off.
1. In standby, select "Soun" by pressing
the "Special" button repeatedly.
2. Press the
button.
3. Turn the function wheel (10) to turn the
sounds OFF or ON.
4. Press the
button to confirm the set-
ting.
Demo Mode
If the demo mode is switched on, the heat-
ing elements will not function after the func-
tion/heating mode has been started.
1. In standby, select "dEo" by pressing the
"Special" button repeatedly.
2. Press the button

3. Rotate the function wheel (10) to turn
the demo mode ON or OFF.
4. Press the button
to confirm the set-
ting.
Child lock
– To activate the child lock, press and
hold the button
(13) for approximately
3 seconds.
– To disable the child lock, press and hold
the button
again for approximately 3
seconds.
