Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in injury.
■ Hold the supply cord when
winding it up. Forcefully re-
tracting the supply cord can
cause a ‘whipping effect’
(on account of the supply
cord swinging uncontrolla-
bly).
■ Lay out the supply cord in
such a way that it does not
become a tripping hazard.

set the fi lter on fi re.
■ Do not vacuum glowing
ash, burning cigarettes or
matches.
■ Do not vacuum any fl am-
mable substances.
