The timer (Automatic mode)
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
There is an increased risk of fire in Auto-
matic mode!
n
Monitor the oven during timer opera-
tion to prevent overflow and burning.
n
Be aware that fats, oils and alcohol
can easily ignite during roasting.
n
Note that the oven is not turned on or
off by the alarm function.
n
Never cook unattended in timer opera-
tion.
The cooking time can be set
between 1 minute and 10 hours.
Any programming will be deleted in
the case of a power failure.
Setting the alarm function
Your oven has an alarm function. You set a
specific period, just as you would with an
egg timer. Once the period has expired, a
tone sounds.
Note that the alarm does not turn the oven
on or off.
1. Press the program button (11) for 3
seconds until the operating indicator
(20) is lit.
2. Press the program button once until the
timer indicator flashes. The time set-
ting "0:00" appears.
3. Press the + (12) or - (10) buttons to set
the alarm time in hours.
4. Confirm with the program button (11).
5. Press the + (12) or - (10) buttons to set
the alarm time in minutes.
6. Press the program button to confirm the
entry or wait 5 seconds until the entry is
automatically confirmed.
The display now shows the current time,
operating indicator and timer indicator .
After the time has elapsed, beeps will
sound for 5 seconds and the timer indicator
will flash.
After the set alarm time has elapsed,
the appliance does not automatically
enter standby mode. To put it into
standby mode, press the program
button (11) for about 3 seconds.
Setting a cooking time
1. Use the function controller (8) to set the
desired cooking or baking function and
the temperature controller (13) to set
the desired temperature.
2. Press the programme button (11) for 3
seconds until the operating indicator
(20) is lit.

3. Press the program button twice until the
indicator “dur” appears.
4. Press the + (12) or - (10) buttons to set
the cooking times in hours. The time in-
dicator and the "Automatic" indicator will
flash.
5. Confirm with the program button.
6. Press the + (12) or - (10) buttons to set
the cooking times in minutes.
7. Press the program button to confirm the
entry or wait 5 seconds until the entry is
automatically confirmed.
The operating indicator and the "Auto-
matic" indicator lights, and the remaining
cooking time is displayed.
The cooking process will start. After the set
cooking time, the appliance goes into
standby mode automatically. You will hear
beeps for 5 seconds and the “Automatic”
indicator will flash.
Deleting programmed settings
– To delete the cooking time setting, press
the program button (11) for about 3
seconds.
