Safety
Intended use
This appliance is designed exclusively for
cleaning/rinsing ordinary household quant-
ities of dishes in private households. The
maximum number of place settings is 14.
The appliance is not suitable for commer-
cial applications or shared use (e.g. use by
several parties in a block of flats).
The appliance is only intended for use
– in frost-proof and dry indoor areas in
stationary operation (e.g. not on ships),
– at a water pressure of 0.4 to 10bar
(0.04 to 1.00 MPa).
– up to a maximum height of 4000 m
above sea level.
Prior to use, the appliance must be prop-
erly installed in a kitchen unit. Persons who
are unable to operate the appliance safely
due to their physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of knowledge must be su-
pervised during use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
Do not make any technical changes to the
appliance.
Use the appliance exclusively as described
in this user manual. Any other use is
deemed improper and may result in dam-
age to property or even personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by improper use.
Safety notices

notices which you must always observe for
your own protection and that of third
parties. Please also observe the warning
notices in the individual chapters on opera-
tion, cleaning, etc.
Risks to children and certain groups
of individuals
WARNING
Risk of suffocation for children!
Children can become entangled in the
packaging film or swallow small parts and
suffocate.

Do not allow children to play with the
packaging film.
n
Prevent children from taking small
parts out of the accessory bag and
putting them in their mouths.
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Knives and other pointed or sharp-edged
objects can cause injuries.

Ensure that children do not put such
items which may cause injury into the
appliance.
WARNING
Risk of corrosion!
Detergents cause severe burns of the
skin and severe eye damage. They can
cause burns in the mouth and throat or
lead to suffocation.

Prevent children from coming into con-
tact with detergents.
n
Keep children away from the open ap-
pliance. There may still be remnants
of detergents inside. The water inside
is not potable drinking water.
n
Consult a doctor immediately if the
child has gotten detergent in their
mouth.
