Functions
Delay end
Press the Delay End button to set the wash cycle end time in one-hour increments up to a maximum
of 24 hours. Once you‘ve chosen the desired washing programme but before you press the START/
PAUSE button, use the Delay End button to display when you prefer the wash cycle to complete, for
example in 8 hours. The DELAY END indicator light is on.
NOTE: The entire wash cycle duration will be completed before the set end time elapses.
Here is an example of a 1hr: Wash cycle duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes with end time delay of 8
hours. 8 hours are displayed and approximately 6 hours 30 minutes is counted down until the start of
the washing programme (which will take 1 hour 30 minutes), then the programme duration of 1:30 is
displayed when the wash cycle starts. Total time is about 8 hours.
Cancel the Delay End function:
• Turn the washing programme selector knob to reset the washing programme. The DELAY END indi-
cator light goes out.
NOTE:
• The Delay End function cannot be set for some washing programmes.
• The washing programme end time may dier from the set End Time depending on the water supply
pressure, drain, type of clothes, water temperature and other conditions.
Child Lock
1. Activating the Child Lock prevents inadvertent operation by children or any disruptions during the
washing programme.
2. When the wash programme is running, press and hold the SPEED button for 3 seconds to either
activate or deactivate the Child Lock.
3. When the Child Lock function is set, the Child Lock indicator [ ] is illuminated. The door can-
not be opened The control panel is locked. None of the buttons on the control panel or the washing
programme selection knob on the control panel are responsive, with the exception of the dash on
the washing program selector knob beneath the symbol. The appliance can only be powered o by
adjusting the wash programme selection knob so that the dash is positioned under the [ ] symbol
The appliance will turn o. If the appliance is turned o, the Child Lock function will be cancelled.
4. Once the Child Lock function is activated, you can power o the appliance by adjusting the wash
program selector knob. Upon restarting the appliance, it will resume the previously set programme
without any additional input.
Add laundry during a wash programme
When the programme is running, press and hold the START/PAUSE button to pause the appliance.
When the DOOR LOCK indicator goes o, you can open the door to add or remove laundry. Once you
have added the laundry, close the door, then press and hold the START/PAUSE button once more and
the appliance will resume programme where it was paused.
NOTE:
If the water level or water temperature within the drum is excessively high, the door lock indicator
light [ ] will illuminate. Consequently, the door cannot be opened, and clothes cannot be added or
removed while the programme is in progress.
