TESTING A VEHICLE BATTERY
6 / 12 V vehicle battery test
Enter the [Car] menu
Select the location of the battery.
In the vehicle:
means that the battery is connected to the vehicle.
Outside the vehicle:
means that the battery is no longer connected to the vehicle.

If the test is performed on a battery in a vehicle (choose
In Vehicle), the
tester may detect a surface charge
and request that the lights be turned on to remove this surface charge from the battery.
The tester detects when the charge has been removed, and prompts to turn o the lights. Press to conti-
nue the test.
• Select the type of battery from the following:
- Regular battery,
- AGM at plate
- AGM spiral
- GEL
- EFB.

The battery tester tests each battery according to the relevant standard and nominal value.
