SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This user manual includes operation instructions, and the
safety precautions to be followed by the user. Please read it
carefully before rst use and keep it for future reference.
Fire and explosion risks!
A battery can emit explosive gases when on charge.
The battery tester should only be connected to batteries with a
nominal output voltage of 6V and 12V.
ATTENTION: Reverse polarity will cause the fuse to blow
and could cause permanent damage. Damage due to reverse
polarity is not covered by our warranty.
ATTENTION: if the car’s battery is disconnected, it is possible
that some management systems may be disabled.
Consult your vehicle manual for more information on
installation.
Do not use the battery tester if the battery cables or terminals
are damaged.
Do not use the battery tester if it has received a severe shock
or has been damaged in any way.
Do not disassemble the device. Incorrect reassembly may
result in a risk of electric shock or re.
Risk of acid dispersion!
• Wear appropriate safety glasses and clothing.
• In case of contact with the eyes or the skin, rinse
immediately with water and see a medical doctor as soon as
possible.
• Avoid ames and sparks. Do not smoke near the device.
• Protect the electrical contact surfaces of the battery against
short circuits.
• Device complies with Europeans directives. The EU
Declaration of Conformity is available on our website (see
cover page).
• The Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) mark of
conformity.
• This equipment conforms to UK requirements.
• The UK Declaration of Conformity is available on our website
(see cover page).
• This device complies with Moroccan standards.
• The Cم (CMIM) declaration of conformity is available on our
website.
• This hardware is subject to waste collection according to the
European directives 2002/96/UE. Do not throw out in a do-
mestic bin!
