Notes:
• To use the Chromecast feature on PC
without any problem, you shall be using
the latest version of the Chrome browser
on PC.
• Your computer shall be connected to the
same Wi-Fi home network as your TV set.
1. Open the Chrome browser on your com-
puter.
2. Click the item on the upper right
corner of the browser.
3. Click Cast.
ð Cast tab and then the Chromecast sup-
ported devices that are on the same
network will be displayed.
4. Select your TV and cast chrome
browser tab on your TV.
5. When you are done, click the icon loc-
ated to the right of the browser’s ad-
dress bar and select Stop Broadcast.
13.4 Casting Computer Screen on
TV
1. Open the Chrome browser on your com-
puter.
2. Click the item on the upper right
corner of the browser.
3. Click Cast.
ð Cast tab and then the Chromecast sup-
ported devices that are on the same
network will be displayed.
4. On the bottom of the Cast tab, select the
down arrow next to the Cast to option.
5. Select Cast Desktop.
6. Select your TV displayed in the Cast tab
and cast your computer screen on your
TV.
7. When you are done, click the icon loc-
ated to the right of the browser’s ad-
dress bar and select Stop Broadcast.
13.5 Casting Music or Video Files
from the Computer to the TV
1. Open the Chrome browser on your com-
puter.
2. Click the item on the upper right
corner of the browser.
3. Click Cast.
ð – Cast tab and the devices supporting
Chromecast that are on the same net-
work will be displayed.
4. On the bottom of the Cast tab, select the
down arrow next to the Cast to option
5. Select Cast File.
ð – The file browser is displayed.
6. Select the music or video file you want
to cast and select your TV displayed in
the Cast tab and play the file on your TV.
7. When you are done, click the icon loc-
ated to the right of the browser’s ad-
dress bar and select Stop Broadcast.
