4.2.6 How to use detergent and softener
WARNING
Read the manufacturer instructions on the package while using detergents provided that they are added from the powder
detergent compartment number 2, starch, fabric colourants, bleach and decolourants, anti-limescale and follow the
dosage information provided. Use the dosing scale, if any.
Do not add additional powder detergent in programs with liquid detergent dosing selected.

• Add detergent and softener before starting the washing cycle.
• If you are to use the detergent pod or the dispensing ball, place it directly among the laundry in the
product.
• Prewash compartment and prewash option is not available.
WARNING
Gel-like, non-fluid liquid detergents, etc. cannot be used in the detergent compartments or dosing chambers.

Close the detergent compartment before staring the washing program and do not open the detergent compartment while
the machine is operating.
Choosing the detergent type
Detergent type to be used depends on the washing programme, fabric type and colour.
• Use separate detergents for coloured and white laundry.
• Wash your delicate clothes only with special detergents (liquid detergent, wool shampoo, etc.) intended
solely for delicate clothes and at suggested programmes.
• When washing dark coloured clothes and quilts, it is recommended to use liquid detergent.
• Wash woollens at suggested programme with special detergent made specifically for woollens.
• Please review the programme descriptions part for suggested programme for different textiles.
• All recommendations about detergents are valid for selectable temperature range of programmes.
WARNING
Only detergents, softeners and additives suitable for washing machines should be used. Do not use liquid detergents or
other cleaning agents to soften the laundry.
Do not use soap powder.
4.2.6.1 Automatic Dosage
Initial Instalment:
Turn on the machine with On/Off button. Dosage symbol ( ) appears in programs where detergent dosing is
allowed. If the liquid detergent or softener compartments are empty, the dosage symbol will flash in programs
where detergent dosing is allowed.
