6.8.1 Auxiliary Functions
• Prewash
Pre-washing is only necessary for very dirty
laundry. You save energy, water, detergent
and time if you do not use a Pre-wash.
• Express / Intensive
With this function, you can shorten or in-
crease the program duration. Depending on
the program selection, there may be differ-
ences in time increases and decreases. In
the event that the fast or HEAVY leash does
not burn, the appropriate program time for
your normal dirty laundry is shown.
Depending on the program selection, the In-
tensive feature may be automatically selec-
ted. In this case, it will be burning heavily on
the board. When washing very dirty clothes,
you can use the intensive choice to get a
better washing performance.
You can reduce the time for your low-soiled
laundry by pressing the fast/intense button
on select programs. Once you press the
button, the led will turn off and you will
reach the appropriate program time for
your normal dirty laundry. When you press
the same button a second time, it will burn
quickly, reducing the time slightly and
showing the minimum program time, suit-
able for your undersoiled laundry. Selecting
this function can shorten the duration of
the respective programs by up to 50%.
Thanks to optimized wash steps, high
mechanical mobility and optimum water
consumption, high wash performance is
achieved despite the shorter duration.
• Extra Rinse
This function allows the machine to per-
form another rinse in addition to the rinsing
after the main wash. Thus, sensitive skin
(baby skin, allergic skin, etc.) you can re-
duce the risk of being affected by the very
small amount of detergent that can stay in
the laundry.
• Steam
This function helps reduce wrinkles, reduce
ironing times and soften and remove dirt
from your cotton, synthetic and mixed laun-
dry.
*Under conditions where the steam func-
tion is applied at the end of the program,
your clothes may be warmer at the end of
the washing. This is expected within the
program operating conditions.

dry.
• Remote Control
You can connect your to smart devices us-
ing this auxiliary function key. For detailed
information, see HomeWhiz feature and Re-
mote Control function.
• Customized Program
This auxiliary function is only available for
cotton and synthetic programs in combina-
tion with the HomeWhiz app. When this
function is enabled under the HomeWhiz
“personalize” menu, you can add up to 5 ad-
ditional rinse steps to the program. You can
select and use some auxiliary functions,
even if not on your product. You can in-
crease and decrease the duration of the
cotton and synthetic programs in a safe
range.
When the customized Program
Auxiliary function is selected, wash
performance and energy consump-
tion differ from the specified value.
