15 Privacy Settings
Manage your device, account and applica-
tion privacy settings from this menu.
1. From Home Screen menu, press .
2. Select Settings and press .
3. Select Privacy and press the .
ð Privacy menu will be displayed.

15.1 Location Settings
You can manage device location settings in
this menu.
1. From the Privacy menu, select Loca-
tion and press the .
ð Location menu will be displayed.
2. Select Location status option, and
press the .
3. Select Use Wi-Fi to estimate location
to turn the location service on or select
Off to turn the location services off, and
press the .
4. To allow Google location services and
other applications to scan the networks
when wireless is off, select Scan al-
ways available and use to select On
setting.
Note:
• You can also view the applications that
have made last location requests in the
menu, and you can turn off the location
service of the application from the applic-
ation settings by selecting the applica-
tion.
5. Press to return to the previous menu
or press to return to Home menu.
15.2 Usage and Diagnostic settings
You can have diagnostic data such as
deadlock reports, device, application, and
built-in chromecast data automatically sent
to Google.
1. From the Privacy menu, select Usage
and Diagnostics and press the .
ð Usage and Diagnostics menu will be
displayed.
2. Select On if you want that Usage and
Diagnostics data are sent automatically
or select Off if you want these data are
not sent, and press the .
3. Press the to return to the previous
menu.
15.3 Ads
1. From the Privacy menu, select Ads and
press the .
ð Ads menu will be displayed.
15.3.1 Reset Ad ID
1. From the Ads menu, select Reset AD
ID and press the .
2. Select OK to reset ad ID or select Can-
cel to cancel the operation, and press
the .
3. Press the to return to the previous
menu.
15.3.2 Turn off Ad Personalization
1. From the Ads menu, select Off Ads
