Unscaled format
Unscaled format displays pictures in their
original size.
4:3 format
The picture is shown in 4:3 format.
Widescreen movie 14:9 and Widescreen
movie 16:9 formats
During programmes in 4:3 format, the pic-
ture is stretched horizontally if 16:9 or 14:9
is selected.
With actual 16:9 signal sources (from a
satellite receiver or the Euro-AV socket) the
picture fills the screen completely and with
the correct geometry.
1. Press the and then the .
2. Select Picture option, and press the .
3. Select Display Mode option, and press
the .
4. Select the picture mode and press the
.
5. Press the to return to the previous
menu or to return to the Home menu
or to return to the TV broadcast.
5.10 Power Settings
5.10.1 Sleep timer
You can set a time to turn off the TV set
with the Sleep Timer. After this time has
elapsed, the television switches to standby
mode.
1. Press the and then the .
2. Select Power option, and press the .
ð Power menu shall be displayed.
3. Select Sleep timer and press the .
4. Select the turn off time and press the .
5. Press or to return to the broad-
cast.
5.10.2 Picture Off
You can turn the picture off only without
switching the TV set to stand-by mode.
1. Press the and then the .
2. Select Power option, and press the .
ð Power menu shall be displayed.
3. Select Picture Off option, and press the
.
ð TV picture is turned off.
4. Press any key on the remote to turn the
picture on again.
5. Press or to return to the broad-
cast.
5.10.3 Auto Off Timer

3. Select Auto Off Timer and confirm with

5.10.4 Automatic shut down when
no signal
Select the time when the TV will switch off
automatically if it does not receive any
broadcast signals.

2. Select Power option, and press the .
ð Power menu shall be displayed.
3. Select Automatic Shut Down when no
signal option, and press the .
4. Select the turn off time and press the .
5. Press or to return to the broad-
cast.
5.11 Electronic TV Guide
The electronic programme guide offers an
overview of all programmes that will be
broadcast in the next week (for digital
channels only).
