Before connecting the external data medium
it is recommended to switch the television to
stand-by mode.

Before removing the external data medium,
the television must be switched to standby,
so that no data loss occurs.

Your television features two USB sockets,
»USB«.
»USB« is used to connect data media,
which require an additional power supply.
– for example, external hard disks.
1 Connect the »USB« socket of the television
and the corresponding socket of the data
medium (external hard disk) using a USB ca-
ble;
Notes:

If you use a network cable for external hard
disks which have been connected to the
»USB« socket of the television, this network
cable must also be disconnected from the
power supply when the television is switched
off.

External data media may not be disconnect-
ed from the television while files on the data
medium are being accessed.
Settings for USB recording
Selecting the menu
1 Open the menu with »MENU«.
2 Select the menu item »USB RECORDING«
with »
V
« or »
Λ
« and press
»OK«
to confirm.
– The »USB RECORDING« menu appears.
