Before First Use
1. Remove ll pckging mteril. Check to ensure ll prts re included
before discrding ny pckging.
2. Unwind the power cord from below the power base.
3. Wsh the kettle, kettle lid nd tea infuser with wrm sopy wter nd soft
sponge. Rinse nd dry thoroughly.
4. Plce the kettle on flt, level, het-resistnt surfce.
• Overfilling the kettle will cuse the kettle to overflow nd my result in
burns or sclding.
• Inserting or removing the tea infuser hook into the ltch requires
extreme cre nd cution. Hot stem will emit from the kettle upon
opening the lid. Insert nd remove the infuser crefully to void burns.
WARNING:
Priming the Kettle
Before first use, we recommend running brew cycle with wter, then discrding
the wter. This ensures ll dust nd residue hve been removed from the kettle.
1. Open the lid nd fill the kettle with wter to the MAX line.
WARNIN: Overfilling the kettle will cuse the kettle to overflow while
brewing nd my result in burns or sclding.
2. Close the lid nd plce the kettle securely on its base. Plug the power cord
into the outlet.
3. Tp START / STOP.
4. Tp BOIL / BLACK.
5. Tp START / STOP gin.
6. The disply will show the temperture of wter s it rises (wter will rech
100° C / 212° F).
7. After boiling, empty the kettle nd rinse it with clen wter.
8. The kettle is redy for use.
