Making Tea
1. Remove the tea infuser by opening the lid, lifting the infuser, nd plcing it
on flt, dry surfce.
2. Fill the kettle with wter bove the MIN line nd below the MAX line.
3. Plce the kettle securely on its base. Plug the power cord into n outlet.
4. Touch START / STOP to ctivte ll other functions.
5. Select your desired preset. Alterntively, you cn choose your own preferred
temperture by tpping the plus nd minus icons on the control panel.
Note: KEEP WARM will be turned on by defult. To turn o KEEP WARM, tp
KEEP WARM. It will dectivte. See Keeping Wrm on pge 11 to djust the
keep wrm temperture.
6. Touch START / STOP. The kettle will begin heting up, nd the presets
not chosen will fde from the Control Panel. The display will show the
temperture of the wter s it rises.
7. As wter is heting, pick up your tea infuser nd fill it with either loose te or
te bgs (the mount of te should correspond to the mount of wter in the
kettle).
8. When the desired temperture of the kettle is reched, the unit will beep.
Open the lid crefully nd, while holding the tea infuser by the hook, reinsert
it into the latch.
WARNIN: Hot stem will emit from the kettle upon opening the lid nd the
kettle will be hot. Use extreme cution when reinserting the tea infuser.
9. Close the lid nd tp STOP / START to steep te. The brew time will count
down on the display.
Note: Brewing time is bsed o the te type. See Preset Chrt on pge 10
for more informtion.
10. When te is finished brewing, crefully open the lid, lift out the tea infuser,
nd close the lid gin.
11. The kettle is detchble for esy serving. Simply lift the kettle o its base
nd pour.
Note: If extr te remins in the kettle fter serving, plce the kettle bck on
its base to keep wrm for up to 3 hours (see pge 11 for more bout Keep
Wrm).
12. Turn the kettle o by tpping STOP / START, then unplug the power cord
from the outlet.
