HOW TO BREW COFFEE
1. Open the lid.
2. Fill the water reservoir. Follow the water window’s markings to fill to your
desired amount of cups.
NOTE: Do not fill the water reservoir above the “12 MAX HOT” / maximum
mark or below the “2 MIN” / minimum mark.
3. Add pre-ground coee into the filter. The suggested amount is 1 tbs. per cup.
Add additional grounds for stronger coee. Do not fill above the Max mark.
4. Close the lid. Place the carafe on the warming plate.
5. For extra robust coee, press STRONG. STRONG appears on the display.
NOTE: To cancel the STRONG setting, press STRONG again. STRONG no
longer appears on the display.
6. Press BREW NOW. The brew light blinks while brewing and stays on while
keeping the coee warm.
7. Once brewing has completed, the default keep warm setting will keep coee
hot for 2 hours and then the coee maker will automatically turn o. To adjust
the keep warm settings, see ADJUST KEEP WARM FUNCTION on page 12.
8. While in keep warm mode, the freshness timer on the display counts up,
showing the time since the coee was brewed.
NOTE: To turn o keep warm mode at any time, press BREW NOW and
ensure the brew light is o.
