6.5 Communication
6.5.1 RS485 Communication Networking
NOTICE
• If multiple inverters are connected to the EzLogger3000C for networking, the maximum
number of inverters per COM port of the EzLogger3000C is 20, and the total length of the
connecting cable should not exceed 1000m.
• It is recommended to use the communication cable with shielding layer, and make it
grounded during wiring.
• For multiple inverters paralleling, please connect the provided terminal resistance to the
last inverter to ensure normal communication.
When all loads in the PV system cannot consume the generated electricity, the surplus power
will be fed into the grid. In this case, it is possible to monitor the power generation with an smart
meter, EzLogger3000C to control the amount of power fed into the grid.
