STOPPING THE ENGINE

Turn off and
disconnect all
electrical
appliances.
Push the engine
switch to “STOP”
Turn the fuel
cock to “OFF”
position
Turn the fuel
tank cap air vent
to “CLOSED”
position

MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE CHART
Regular maintenance is most important for the best performance and safe operation.
Check condition adjust gap and clean.
Replace if necessary.
Check oil level
Replace
Clean oil filter
Clean. Replace if necessary.
Clean fuel cock filter. Replace if necessary
Check choke operation
Check and adjust when engine is cold.
Check fuel hose for crack or damage.
Replace if necessary.
Check for leakage. Retighten or replace gasket if necessary
Check muffler screen. Clean / replace if necessary.
Check choke operation
Check fan damage.
Check recoil starter operation.
Check and adjust engine idle speed
Check all fittings and fasteners correct if necessary.
Check breather hose for cracks or damage.
Replace if necessary
Check if the pilot light comes on
