Pull away the air cleaner housing, use the
flat screwdriver to release two plastic clips,
then the filter can now be removed.
Wash the air filter in a solution of house-
hold detergent and warm water, then rinse
it thoroughly, or wash it in a non flamma-
ble or high flash point solvent.
Allow the air filter to dry thoroughly.
OIL FILTER
The oil filter should be cleaned every 6
months or 100 hours or use. The oil filter can
be found on the base of the generator.

Ensure the generator has been drained of oil,
remove the cap to gain access to the filter
assembly.
MUFFLER SCREEN
AND SPARK ARRESTOR
Remove the screen cover
Remove the muffler screen
Use the flathead
screw driver to
pry the spark
arrester out from
the muffler
Remove the
carbon deposits
on the muffler
screen and spark
arrester using a
wire brush
Install the muffler
screen
Install the cover
