9.3 Fractions
Fractions can be converted into the decimal figures and
reconverted back to fractions. To do so, press the a
b/c
key
while looking at the result.
Display a proper or improper fraction
1. To switch the display, repeatedly press the MODE key
until you see the following display.
2. Press 1. The display will show
- a
b
/c 1: Display as a proper fraction
- d/c 2: Display as an improper fraction
3. Press 1 for ab/c or 2 for d/c.
NOTE: If the display for the improper fraction was
selection, the entry of a proper fraction will result in an
error (Math ERROR).
9.4 Calculating degrees, minutes, seconds
You can carry out sexagesimal calculations with degrees
(hours), minutes and seconds. Alternatively, the result
can be displayed in the sexagesimal system or decimal
system. To do so, press the °´´´ key while looking at the
result.
9.5 Trigonometry and inverse trigonometry
1. To switch the preset angular dimension, repeatedly
press the MODE key until you see the following display.
2. To select press 1, 2 or 3.
