8. Calculating with saved values
The calculator has a buffer.
• Each time you press the = key after entering a value or a
formula, the entry is secured in the buffer.
• Even the intermediate results are written in the buffer
after pressing the following keys:
SHIFT %, M+, SHIFT M-. SHIFT STO if an alphabetic
character follows (A to F or M, X, Y).
• Press ANS to access the buffer.
• Press ANS = to access and display the buffer.
• The answer memory saves 12 digits for a mantissa and 2
digits for an exponent.
• The memory does not save new entries, if an ERROR is
shown in the display.
Ongoing calculations
• The last result that was generated with = can be used
for further calculations.
• The result in the answer memory can also be used with
the other type A functions (x
