5. Power supply
Insert or change battery
RISK OF EXPLOSION! if batteries are replaced incorrectly.
Replace using the same or equivalent type of battery.
NOTE: Even if the battery is in perfect working order, it
should be replaced every 3 years.
1. Unscrew both screws on the reverse side using a
screwdriver.
2. Replace the old battery with a new one.
WARNING! Pay attention to the polarity (- points up).
3. Close the reserve side of the calculator by screwing in
both of the screws.
4. Press the RESET button using a sharp object.
Photoelectric cell
The photoelectric cell supports the battery and it ensures
a longer service life of the battery. The photoelectric cell
cannot be replaced.
6. Basic operation
Switching on and off
• Press the ON key to switch on the device.
• The device switches off automatically after approx. 6
minutes of no activity.
Set calculation mode
• The calculator has 3 different calculation modes. Press
the MODE key and 1, 2 or 3 to select the calculation
mode.
