The phonebook built in your mobile phone allows you to
store frequently used numbers so that you can easily
make a call without having to remember or enter the
phone number.
Adding Phonebook Entries
You can add phonebook entries by using the menu or in
standby mode.
Way 1: by using the menu
1. Press Menu in standby mode.
2. Press
key to select Phone Book, press Ok.
3. Press
key to select Add New Entry, press Ok.
4. Press or key to select an option between To
SIM or To Phone, press Ok.
5. Press Edit soft key. Enter a name that you want to use,
press Save soft key. For details please see the Character
Map.
6. Press
key to move to number field, enter the
appropriate number (up to 40 digits), press Ok.
7. After that, press Yes to save, then the LCD display
shows Done. Press No to cancel and quit.
Notes:
y In step 5, to switch among different inputting mode,
press the
key while entering the text.
y If you make a mistake while entering a number or a
name, press Clear soft key to delete the last character.
