Problem Possible Cause Remedy
AssistCut can no longer
be stopped
Lower handle is jammed. v Switch off the AssistCut.
And see 1. SAFETY.
AssistCut stops while
cutting
Not enough pressure on the
handles.
v Hold the handles with a firmer
grip.
Branch is too hard. v Check the charge level for
max. power assistance and
cut again.
Runtime too low Blade is soiled. v Clean the blade.
AssistCut does not start
or stops.
All 3 LEDs are flashing green

Battery is completely empty. v Charge the battery.
Battery temperature is outside
the permissible temperature
range.
v Wait until the battery temper-
ature is between 0 °C and
+ 45°C again.
AssistCut does not start
or stops.

Product is defective. v Contact the GARDENA Service.
NOTE: For any other malfunctions please contact the GARDENA service depart-
ment. Repairs must only be done by GARDENA service departments or specialist
dealers approved by GARDENA.

Cut injury when the product starts
accidentally.
v Close the handles, lock the blade, turn
off the product and use gloves before
you troubleshoot the product.
Disposal of the battery:
Li-ion
The GARDENA battery contains
lithium-ion cells that should not
be disposed of with normal house-
hold waste at the end of its life.
IMPORTANT!
The battery may only be removed by qualified
personnel.
1. If you have any questions regarding the removal
of the battery, please contact the GARDENA
Service.
2. Dispose of the batteries through or via your
municipal recycling collection centre.
