Storage
It would help if you permanently stored the generator in a clean, dry and frost-free place.
If the power generator is to be stored for an extended period, please proceed as follows:
• Shut off fuel cock and unscrew oil filter cup counterclockwise, drain and blow out
clean.
• Position suitable drain container under the drain, open fuel tap and drain fuel entirely
into the container.
• Replace a sealing ring (rubber) and screw the oil filter cup back in clockwise.
• Loosen carburettor drain plug and drain residual fuel from the carburettor into a
suitable container. Tighten the carburettor drain plug again.
• Unscrew the oil filler cap, unscrew the oil drain plug and completely drain oil from the
crankcase into a suitable container.
• Tighten the oil drain plug again and fill it up with suitable engine oil up to the upper
mark on the dipstick.
• Screw the oil filler cap back into the oil filler neck.
• Pull the starter rope in a controlled manner until resistance is felt.
