Adjusting fan control
You can adjust the fan control in the BIOS Setup Utility. T he following settings are available:
• Normal: The system is cooled to ensure that the maximum system performance is always
available and to keep the housing temperature as low as possible.
• Silent: The fan rotation speed, and thereby the noise created by the fan, is reduced.
The default setting of this system is Normal.
► Call up the BIOS Setup Utility.
► In the m enu Advanced - M isce llaneous Configurations select the Fan Control function.
► Choose the setting Normal or Silent.

With the Fujitsu Utility Function Manager you can also switch between
these two settings with Windows.
You can find the Fujitsu U tility Function Manager in the Windows start menu under
Settings - Extras and online at "
https://support.t s.fujitsu.com/".
In the Funct ion Manager, se lect the Fan menu item with the options Quiet
Mode (corresp onds to Silent) and Normal Mode.
