ing manual contains important information you require to start up and run your LCD monitor.
Control of t
he LCD monitor requires: a display adapter (screen controller) with a VGA interface, or a
digital di
splay adapter with a DVI inte rface, or a video signal source with a DisplayPort interface.
The monito
r processes the data supplied to it by the display adapter. The display adapter o r the
associat
ed driver software is responsible for setting the modes (resolution and refre sh rate).
When putt
ing the monitor into operation for the first time, the screen display should be
optimal
ly adapted to the display adapter used and adjusted in accordance w ith your
needs (s
ee chapter "
Changing the monitor settings", Page 21).
