This operat
ing manual contains important information you require to start up and run your LCD monitor.
To control a
n LCD monitor, a graphics card (screen controller) with a VGA interface, a digital
graphics c
ard with a HDMI interface or a video signal source with a DP interface is required.
The screen
processes the da ta supplied to it by the graphics card. The graphics card or the
correspo
nding driver software is responsible for setting the modes (resolution and refresh rate).
When putt
ing the monitor into o peration for the first time, the screen display should be
optimal
ly adapted to the display adapter used and adjusted in accordance w ith your
needs (s
ee chapter "
Changing the monitor settings", Page 19).
