3.3. Installing the appliance
WARNING!
• Electrocution hazard due to short circuit. Do not connect the appliance to the power supply until it is installed as instructed.

• Risk of damage to the appliance. Do not pass the power cable under a carpet or cover it with mats, runners and the like.
This can lead to unforeseen heat generation.
1. Tighten the extension piece clockwise in the base.
2. Tighten the fan motor clockwise in the extension piece.
Make sure all parts are securely fastened before the other parts are fitted.
3. Loosen the blade nut and guard nut from the fan motor.
4. Place the rear guard on the fan motor.
5. Hold the rear guard and turn the cap nut clockwise to hold the fan motor.
6. Place the fan blade on the fan shaft. The notch in the back of the fan blade should fall over the (perpendicular) pin of the
shaft.
