Induction cooking:
Before Using Your New Induction Hob:
Not all cookware is suitable for induction cooking. See the section “Operation
Instructions” > “Choosing the right cookware”.
Note:
Induction cooking is a safe, ecient and economical cooking technology. It works
by creating an magnetic eld in the hob which then induces an electric current in
suitable cookware. Through a resistance layer in the suitable cookware, heat is
created directly in the cookware, rather than indirectly by heating elements under
the glass surface. The glass only gets hot because the cookware eventually
transfers heat back to the glass surface.
• Read this manual, paying particular attention to the 'Safety Warnings' section.
• Remove any protective lm from your induction hob.
