Opening/Closing Of Doors/Drawers (continued)
Drawers are
dicult to
move.
• Food is touching shelf
on top of drawer.
• Track that drawers slide
on is dirty.
• Remove top layer of items in drawer.
• Ensure drawer is properly
installed on track.
• Clean drawer, rollers, and track.

Running of Refrigerator
Compressor
does not run.
• Refrigerator is in defrost
cycle.
• Plug at electrical outlet
is disconnected.
• House fuse blown or
tripped circuit breaker.
• Power outage.
• This is normal for a fully automatic
defrost refrigerator. The defrost
cycle occurs periodically, lasting
about 30 minutes.
• Ensure plug is tightly pushed
into outlet.
• Check/replace fuse with a 15 amp
time-delay fuse. Reset circuit breaker.
• Check house lights. Call local
electric company.
Refrigerator
seems to run
too much or
too long.
• The variable speed
compressor is designed
to run 100% of the
time except during the
defrost cycle. At times
it will run faster, such as
after a defrost cycle.
• It is normal for the compressor to
run continuously except during
defrost mode.
One compart-
ment feels
cooler than
the other after
installation.
• This unit is equipped
with a refrigeration
system that changes
between compartments
periodically.
• This is normal behavior right after
installation. Allow 24 hours for
the unit to stabilize and reach the
desired temperatures.
Digital Temperature Setting Display
Digital temper-
ature displays
an error.
• Electronic control
system has detected a
performance problem.
• For assistance with any errors or
codes flashing in the appliance
control display call 1-800-374-4432.
Water Filter
Authentication
Error (ErFA)
• If you remove and reinsert
an authentic expired filter
into the appliance.
• If you install an authentic
but incorrect filter.
• If you install a non-
authentic filter.
• If you do not properly
install the filter.
• The temperature display will
show an error code related to
the filter authentication. You can
temporarily dismiss the error
twice by holding Water Filter
for 3 seconds to delay the alert
each time it appears. On the third
appearance of the error, the error
code permanently displays on the
appliance control display until you
install a new authentic filter.
